We're changing the world one stitch at a time!
This is a new group wanting to share and learn knitting, crochet, sewing skills etc and use it to influence change and protect the environment. We’re not meeting regularly at the moment, but if you have an idea for a shared project let us know!
We’ll make sustainable gifts, useful items, hub displays, protest banners- anything we like! And gain skills and friendships for resilience too. We’ll use secondhand materials and avoid buying new.
At the moment we are meeting fortnightly on a Thursday at 7pm at the Hub, but times and venues will vary, to include as many people as possible. See our events calendar for dates.
People of all ages are welcome. If you are under 16, we will need your parent or carer to introduce you to us, and let us know your arrangements for getting home safely afterwards.
