Family-Go-Round

Clothes and More for 0-4s!

A whopping 183 million items of outgrown baby clothing are tucked away in UK homes (Hubbub), and more go to waste before their time.

These clothes use vast amounts of energy, water and chemicals to make, polluting the environment and fuelling climate change.

Meanwhile, many families are going without the basics.

It doesn’t have to be this way…

Let’s support each other and the beautiful world we live in and make sharing baby stuff in Seaford the norm!

How it works

Give your pre-loved baby items a new life!

Drop off your outgrown clothes and equipment to the SEA Climate Hub… and browse for the next size up!

Don’t worry if you don’t have any items to donate right now. You are still very welcome to take what you can make use of!

If you are able, please do make a cash donation, however small, to help us keep the project running.

What we take:

  • Any clothes and shoes for ages 0 to 4 in good condition.
  • Accessories such as cots, highchairs, moses baskets, sterilisers, cups, baby bouncers… and more!

Due to space capacity, we are sorry that we cannot take donations of toys.

When donating to us, please ask yourself:

“Is this item in a condition that I would pass on to a friend?”

If the answer is yes, then please feel free to bring it in!

Want to help??

350,000 tonnes of wearable clothing goes to landfill every year in the UK!!

Let’s make a change in Seaford!

Here are some ways you could help support Family-Go-Round

  • Volunteer an hour a week (or even a one-off session) to join our friendly team sorting items
  • Help promote the project by taking posters to your local nurseries and schools
  • Tell your friends!

Please email or drop into the hub if you would like to be involved!

What about school uniform?

We no longer collect school uniform at the Climate Hub.

Check out Sharing Skills website to find out how to trade in or donate Seaford school uniform and order great value pre-loved items via their online shop or pop up shops.
