Trees for Seaford
Specifically, we are looking to recruit people who share our positive ethos and can contribute a regular amount of time.
As well as the practical hands on planting days in Spring/Autumn and monthly tree care sessions over the Spring and Summer, there are a variety of other jobs needing enthusiastic people who can help organize and manage our activities.
At the moment, we’re particularly looking for people who can help with organisation, administration, technology and social media.
And of course it’s an opportunity to meet people who share your passion and enjoy being part of a sociable group!
So get in touch to find out how you can be part of Trees for Seaford
Refill Seaford and Newhaven
We’re always looking for volunteers to man stalls at Events and talk to people when they take place. No selling involved.
If you’re passionate about reducing waste, Refill are looking for people who are happy to speak to cafes and takeaways about refilling cups and take away boxes and to promote this to the general public.

Seaford Community Garden
Volunteers are always sure of a warm welcome – whether you are a complete novice, want to make new friends sharing an interest, or are an experienced or professional gardener we would love to meet you (and of course lend us your skills!).
Come and say hello on a Wednesday morning sometime between 9.30am and 12.30pm. We will answer any queries you may have and show you around our Community Garden.
You are very welcome to join us. (If the weather is inclement we shelter in the classroom or poly tunnel with a cuppa!)

Plastic Free Seaford
Monthly beach cleans as part of the Plastic Free Seaford campaign. Alternating between Martello Tower and The Buckle end of the beach.
First Sunday of every month.
10am safety briefing for a 10.15am start.
We will provide gloves, bags (not plastic) and litter pickers and encourage everyone to bring their own bucket (it’s much easier to sort the rubbish this way).
Children massively welcome as long as supervised by their adult!
Dogs welcome after summer restrictions are over.
Rubbish collected will be weighed, sorted and recycled.
