The People’s Emergency Briefing- a public information film
April 17 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A special screening of the new public information film, The People’s Emergency Briefing.
Join us for an eye-opening event, bringing together nine leading UK scientists and experts on climate and nature, to explore why it matters for things like:
- Extreme weather
- Food security
- Health
- Cost of living
The film is based on the National Emergency Briefing in Westminster in November (featured by ITV, Channel 4 and The TImes) with appearances from Chris Packham, Deborah Meaden and a range of voices from across the UK.
The People’s Emergency Briefing is sweeping the UK, with more than a 1000 screenings planned. It features footage from the national briefing, with reactions from members of the public and some more familiar faces. It presents the national implications of climate and nature breakdown – and is building an irresistible call for the Government to stage a televised briefing, launch an emergency response, and help lead global action.
This showing is organised by local Seaford residents and supported by Sharing Skills, Seaford Environmental Alliance and Zero Hour. All citizens, from parents, teachers, builders, to councillors and our MP, are warmly invited to the 50 minute film, followed by a short community discussion to discuss how the messages in the briefing can be extended more widely to all.
Tickets are by donation. Suggested donation £3, for the venue, Mercread Youth Centre. Book here: The People’s Emergency Briefing – a public information film Tickets, Friday, Apr 17 from 6 pm to 8:30 pm | Eventbrite
