The Little Green Cinema presents ‘Six inches of soil’

June 2 @ 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Join us for our last film of the season and by popular demand ‘Six Inches of Soil’.

We will be joined this time by two experts, Ben Hansell from High Farm in Woodingdean and Michael Kennard from ‘The Compost Club’ in Brighton who will be taking part in a Q&A after the film, discussing the film and the part they both play in local farming and soil regeneration.

Six Inches of Soil is a story of courage, vision and hope.

The film, Six Inches of Soil, tells the story of remarkable farmers, communities, small businesses, chefs and entrepreneurs who are leading the way to transform how our food is produced and consumed. It tells the inspiring story of young British farmers standing up against the industrial food system and transforming the way they produce food – to heal the soil, our health and provide for local communities.

As always the film will be preceded by a sumptuous afternoon tea with free tea/coffee and cakes.

“An excellent film really put well together, told the journey, told the story. Brilliant to see young people, the next generation coming forward with enthusiasm and knowing we’re in safe hands in farming.” — Martin Howlett, Farmer.
